Join me for an online celebration and recognition of the Summer solstice (solstice meaning”sun stopping”).
Summer solstice, 21st June, is the longest day and shortest night in the northern hemisphere, and a celebration of all we have brought out into the light, as well as acknowledging the return to the dark, because although nature imbues us with light and abundance, we will slowly start to shift to longer nights and shorter days.
This class gives you the opportunity to reflect on what summer solstice means for you. I will share some of the different symbolic meanings behind the season of summer, including its association with the mother archetype and ovulation, as well as old Celtic and Pagan ideas. We will explore this through journalling, after very gentle flow and restore yoga to support the holistic wellbeing of mind, body and spirirt, as well as yoga nidra to inspire creativity.
All are welcome. This class will be recorded if you can’t make the live time, and made availability for a month afterwards. Solstice is not until 21st June, but I am teaching an in-person retreat then (you can read about this here). You are welcome to purchase this class, and then watch the recording over the summer solstice or any time that suits you.
