This practice is designed for anyone on their period. It gently stretches and relaxes the lower abdomen and uterus, softens the inner thighs, and lifts and opens the heart space. It can also be practiced by anyone feeling the need to rest deep and be held.

You will need: a yoga mat or a firm surface to lie on (or you can do it in your bed). 1-2 yoga bolsters or firm pillows. Support for under the legs - 2 yoga blocks and 2 bricks or cushions. A blanket to use as a pillow or an actual cushion or pillow!

Optional equipment: Blankets to stay warm. An eye pillow (or clean sock/scarf to place over the eyes).
