Mel is excited to introduce this retreat, new for 2018 at the stunning location of the Isle of Man. With a maximum of 12 guests, this promises to be an unforgettable weekend of deep restorative rest, so often needed at this time of year. Escape to an island for real sanctuary, and be nourished by the stunning grounds which offer a peaceful haven for some reflection and downtime. Beautiful beaches are just a stone throw away, and for those not wanting to leave the grounds, there is a luxury spa just waiting to take care of you! It's impossible not to relax and unwind in this very special place.

The yoga

On this retreat we will use a combination of techniques designed to be bring deep relaxation and peace. It is from this resting place that we find our real power in our lives, not from striving and straining and pushing, and Mel looks forward to sharing yoga nidra, restorative yoga, yin yoga and poetry over the weekend.

Mel creates a safe and nourishing space to allow you the opportunity to delve deeply into these practices which are both healing and transformative.

Although the yoga practices themselves are gentle and kind to the body, they are incredibly powerful. By creating the time and space for ourselves to find deep, nurturing rest, we are able to reduce tension in the body and mind, enabling ourselves to move forward in our lives with greater ease and clarity.

Whether you are searching for greater ease in the body, more stability in the mind or a deeper connection to something beyond the material world, Mel aims to guide you to the greatest teacher of all: your heart. In a chronically stressed world, with seemingly endless deadlines, financial pressures and political tension, we become exhausted, disconnected, and fearful. Our physical and mental well-being begin to suffer and it may become difficult to find feelings of joy and love.

Yoga brings the release of physical, emotional and mental tensions and we immediately start to feel better about ourselves and the world around us. After just one class the difference can be immense! Yoga doesn’t need to be complicated - simply bringing conscious awareness to the way we move, breathe and think can be incredibly healing.

The food

Homemade with love, this retreat offers you home-cooking with 5* hospitality. Friday night starts with a delicious supper, and a talk from your host, Mel. Nourish your belly as well as your soul on this retreat!

Getting there

If attending from the UK the Brightlife team will arrange and book your flights and your Isle of Man airport transfers. ou can fly from most airports - Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and London Gatwick/ London City all have direct flights. 

spa treatments

For this retreat, there will be an exclusive spa session for delegates on Sunday after lunch to conclude your weekend with complete relaxation (optional). If desired you can also book a relaxing treatment, half-day or full-day spa for you to enjoy on arrival, although be sure to book early as treatment spaces can fill up quickly. Pricing

£430 all inclusive: include all meals, break snacks, non-alcoholic beverages and 2 nights’ accommodation, £100 towards the flight,  the delicious food, 5* accommodation and the yoga.
